There are really only one way to get rich in this world (that actually requires you earning things yourself) and that’s to find something that works for you and repeat it. Some people that means just going to their 9 to 5 job, saving some of their money instead of spending every last dollar, and having those savings begin to earn compounding interest though investments until eventually (20 to 30 years) this money out earns their salary. While this is a time proven track it’s a long haul.
Others choose to become a millionaireby finding a pattern they can repeat more quickly, but the principle is the same. If you are an Internet marketer you may realize that everything you write earns you a dollar a month. While individually a dollar a month for 20 minutes of your time is hardly worth the effort. However, the entrepreneur in you realizes that if you repeat this 10 times per day, 20 times per month, for 2 years you are now earning 4800 per month. Most of us aren’t doing that well in our careers and this only took 2 years for 3 – 4 hours per day.
Other money making ideas include selling your own creations or reselling other peoples products (think Pitchmen where the late night sales guys sell anything they can make a $1 on and then go sell a million.) You could create a subscription service on a topic you know a lot about, or become a very good stock trader. All of these concepts are mediocre if you only make one good trade, get one person to sign up, or sell a handful of products. If you can do it repeatedly day after day though you are on the path the getting rich.
So find your own get rich scheme and go work it. Then your friends will call you an overnight success too, even though you know it took years of hard work, a good plan, and an understanding of passive income.
